GEDC 2025-26 Webinar Series Recording: CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure - Part 4 - Frailty Screening and Intervention and the CMS Hospital Measure
The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) held the fourth session of its CMS Hospital Measure webinar series February 23 on, "Frailty Screening and Intervention and the CMS Hospital Measure."
The webinar included information for emergency departments (EDs) working to meet domain three of the CMS Measure and offered insights for implementing frailty screening and intervention in a busy ED setting. The panel contextualized frailty in the care of older adults in the ED, reviewed validated frailty screening tools suitable for the ED patient and discussed the integration of frailty screening and intervention into the clinical workflow.
